Twyford hosts two Open Evenings during each Autumn term, one evening event for prospective Year 6 into 7 applicant families and a separate evening event for prospective Sixth Form applicant families.
During both evenings, applicants are able to tour the school site and meet with current pupils and teaching staff, as well as our Chaplaincy Specialism, Specialist Music College and Specialist Language College departments.
Applicants with Education, Health & Care Plans are able to visit our Additionally Resourced Centre (ARC).
Headteacher Talks are held throughout the evening to provide insight into the school’s history, ethos and community in addition to our curriculum, pastoral and wider learning opportunities.
Twyford is unable to facilitate personal visits and tour requests throughout the academic year.
Although bookings are not required, the Headteacher Talks are ticketed in order to arrange seating. Tickets are distributed upon arrival on a first-come-first-serve basis. In recent years, tickets have been heavily over-subscribed and we therefore advise arriving well in advance of the talk you wish to attend.
All evenings are expected to finish at 8:30 PM.
Please note that there is no on-site parking at Twyford or available parking in the surrounding residential areas of the school site.
