Chemical Engineering at Imperial College
On the 28th of April, we went to Imperial College London to experience an insightful afternoon about chemical engineering. We were given a lecture by the head of the department, Professor Martin Trusler. He taught us about their current project and introduced the carbon condenser to us, including simulations of when the carbon condenser built up too much pressure and were shown the steps they would take to fix it. This inspiring experience widened our eyes to more specific areas within chemical engineering and we left more intrigued than ever.
