Prom Praise at the Royal Albert Hall 2017

On Tuesday 21st March, Rosie Trentham, Luca Latchman and myself took part in an event called ‘Prom Praise for Schools’, led by Noël Tredinnick. We were lucky enough to sing solos in the song ‘free at last’ with an orchestra, backing dancers and a choir of 350 primary school children. Although singing to a full capacity audience at the Royal Albert Hall may seem daunting, we were all so immersed in the uplifting nature of this song that we managed to put all nerves aside and simply enjoy being able to sing in such a magnificent building. The three of us, with Katie Langely from The Green School, accompanied leading worship songwriter Stuart Townend in singing a song he had written called ‘Vagabonds’. Overall, we are very grateful to be given the opportunity to take part in this event and to have worked with such lovely, inspiring people who helped to make all of this possible

Singing to a packed audience, they helped describe the parable of the Prodigal Son through a mixture of music, song and dance.
