Wider Learning Bulletin 14
To read the final Wider Learning Bulletin click here.
Due to an incredibly busy last few weeks of term, the bulletin is bursting with some amazing photos including:
‘School of Rock’ which involved a cast, band and Tech team of 80 students. Frank Noon (a parent of a Twyford student who is a professional photographer) kindly took some stunning photographs of the Wednesday night production. You will be able to see from the photographs what a fantastic production it was and how much fun and enjoyment was had by all students and staff involved. We look forward to next year’s production – which will be announced in September.
Activities Week 2018 - with such a wide range of residential trips, day trips and in-school activities on offer, it was a engaging, fun and enriching week. From looking at the photographs and hearing feedback from students and staff, I am sure students will have made many memories for years to come!
Twyford Academies Trust Sports Day 2018 – a big thank you to the Sports staff for organising a brilliant Trust Sports Day and well done to all students who took part in events and also those who cheered on their tutor groups and house teams. Awards and prizes will be given out in the final whole school assembly this week.
Sponsored Walk day 2018 - I am pleased to announce that we have raised £7213. The final slide shows the tutor groups and houses who raised the most sponsorship and a particular well done to the following students who all raised over £150 - Zach Freeland (7W) raising £326, Grace Taylor (7Y) raising £220, Tilum Patel (7F) raising £192, Yvie De Rozarieux (7R) raising £180, Magnus Tyson (8Y) raising £170, Rhianna David (9R) raising £160 and Josh Kapff (7C) raising £150. What a fantastic effort! There are still a few days left of term to add the sponsorship money onto ParentPay if you haven’t yet done so. All money raised will go towards our partner school in Maciene, Mozambique.
