Reception Services

Reception is the first point of contact for the following services:

• Visitors to the school (all visitors need to sign in at Reception and should be escorted on school site by a member of staff)
• Late registration and signing out for pupils
• General queries via external callers and emails ([email protected])
• Lost property (Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunchtime - please note any unclaimed items will be given to Charity over half terms and end of terms)

Deliveries & messages for students during the school day

Due to the recent high number of items being delivered to Reception, please note that we are unable to pass messages and/or deliver items to pupils throughout the school day. Reception will only accept items to collect if the student knows to collect it in advance.

If you wish to pass a message on to your child, we advise contacting their form tutor or their classroom teacher by email as we cannot guarantee the delivery of messages.

GCSE and/or A Level Certificate Collection long after the respective Results Day

Former students or external exam candidates who who have taken public exams at Twyford and have not collected their GCSE and/or A Level Certificates on their respective Results Day can make arrangements for collection on the first Friday of each month between the hours of 8:00 – 4:30pm.

The office must be emailed at least 7 days in advance of the monthly collection date in order for the certificates to be verified and located in the archives. Former students or external exam candidates who have taken public exams at Twyford must bring 2 forms of photographic identification for collection. If students wish for their parents/carers to collect certificates on their behalf, students must email written permission/consent to [email protected] and the parent/carer must also bring 2 forms of identification.
