Last weekend, three of our Twyford CofE Academies Trust students was selected to represent Ealing at the London Youth Games table tennis competition which took place in the prestigious Copper Box Arena. Two of those students were from Twyford CofE High School.
The boys team played extremely well to win 3 out of 4 of their group stage matches to go through to the quarter finals, losing out to Kingston in an extremely close tie.
The girls team, with 2 novice players, were drawn in their group against the top 3 boroughs in the competition! They gave 100% effort and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, finishing with lots enthusiasm to practice hard and compete again next year.
