Some of our Twyford musicians were fortunate enough to go to William Perkin yesterday where they participated in a musical event with none other than the RAF Central Band and what a day it was!
60 wind, brass and percussion players (including 11 percussionists, 4 bassoons, 3 tubas and 2 bass guitars) from across the Trust had an incredible day which started with a concert by the Central Band of the RAF. This was followed by sectional side-by-side rehearsals and culminated in a joint concert at the end of the day to students, staff and families. This was a spectacular opportunity for our musicians!
