Some of our Year 12 Graphics students have responded to a brief from the Met police to redesign the knife surrender bins in the Acton area. The knife surrender bins were put in place a couple of years ago, however the branding was fairly weak, and subsequently they have become more of a bin. To that effect they are not serving their purpose, and are a subject of complaint for the local community.

The students ideas were submitted to the Met police who were thrilled with the professionalism and creativity our students had to offer.

See the chosen design below.

As a result of the project, the Met police have decided to fund the rebrand to cover all bins across all of Ealing.
