
Year 13 student Charlotte Bedwin has received a commendation in the history category of the John Locke Institute 2026 Global Essay Prize. The John Locke Institute encourages young people to cultivate the characteristics that turn good students into great writers. The Essay Competition invites students to explore a wide range of challenging and interesting questions beyond the confines of the school curriculum. The competition attracted over 100,000 entrants from 183 countries.
We are incredibly proud that Charlotte has been recognised in such a prestigious global competition.
